Still Homeless & Now Jobless!!

It has been over 2 weeks that we have been staying with my mom while the new house gets a facelift. It has been very difficult to check-in here, let alone post or comment. Today I was finally able to read-up on everyone....and I can't wait to get my old computer back. This dial-up service stinks! I will probably be with my mom for another 2 weeks...yikes!!

Anyway, here is a quick re-cap of my latest appointments. My last OB appt. was on 4/4 & I passed the glucose test! YEAH!!

I had my peri. appointment on 4/11 & the kids looked great! The girl was 1 pound 8 oz. & the boy was 1 pound 13 oz. Although he is bigger, they are both in the "normal" range!! I am happy to report that her head is bigger than his by a smidgen!! They are both head-down & THANK GOD all their body parts looked great! I am also so thankful that my cervix was closed & long! While I was there, I opened my mouth & asked the doctor "how much longer I should expect to be working?" He asked me what I do, and when I responded that I am teacher, he told me he wanted me to stop working now....I thought, now as in "the end of the month"....or the "the end of the week"....but he meant now, as in he didn't want me to go back to work! I about had a heartattack....my classroom isn't ready & my class isn't ready for a sub. I had to go in one more day to say goodbye & organize for the substitute. So now, I am home on bedrest. I was 26 weeks on Friday, so I pray I can make it the next 12 weeks in bed with these two staying put! Once I am in my own house, I think it will be easier...but we shall see! I wonder how long I would have been working if I didn't open my big fat mouth!

Well, I better get going back to bed....my next appointments are 5/2 and 5/3 at the peri & OB. I can't believe May is almost here & there are so many sistas' edds in May!!! I'm thinking about you all....take care & best wishes!
